Hiring for seasonal vegetable crew employees generally begins in December. Most main season crew members start work in late April or early May, and continue, full-time, through the end of October.

Land and Livestock Manager
Hours: Full-Time, Year-Round
Compensation: Salary range $70,000 to $78,000
The Land and Livestock Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of field crop and livestock production at Gwenyn Hill Farm, as well as machinery and facilities maintenance. The Land and Livestock Manager supervises hourly and/or seasonal employees engaged in the care of livestock, production of row crops, or maintenance of farm facilities and equipment. The Land and Livestock Manager collaborates with custom operators and fellow Gwenyn Hill managers to plan crop rotations, fertility, harvests, and sales of land and livestock products. The Land and Livestock Manager supports the overall success of Gwenyn Hill Farm by performing any additional duties assigned by the General Manager.
