Linda Halley’s role as General Manager goes well beyond managing a farm to creating and developing a diverse, certified organic farm that is more sustainable than a conventional crop operation.
With 25 years as a recognized leader in organic farming, Linda is known for having co-founded one of Wisconsin’s premier community supported agriculture (CSA) farms in the 1990s, as well as having made significant contributions to organic farming models in California and Minnesota.
Linda is passionate about educating professionals and the public about organic agriculture. She is a frequent speaker at organic farming conferences and has contributed to numerous newsletters and trade publications. In 2003, Linda received the Organic Farmer of the Year award from the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service.
Linda holds a B.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Crop Inspector Certification from the International Organic Inspectors Association.
