Pickup takes place at the Williams Barn at Gwenyn Hill Farm.

 

Pick-up schedule options are as follows:

  • Tuesdays (A or B Week option): 4pm – 6pm
  • Thursday A Week: 4pm – 6pm
  • Thursday B Week: 5pm – 7 pm

Please choose the day of the week you would like to pick up your share as well as an “A” or “B” Week.

  • “A” Weeks begin June 18 (Tuesday) or 20 (Thursday) and run every other week through October 22 or 24, 2024.
  • “B” Weeks begin June 25 (Tuesday) or 27 (Thursday) and run every other week through October 29 or 31, 2024.

About Our CSA

Our CSA shares are all picked up at Gwenyn Hill Farm. The share is a combination of pre-picked items and items you pick yourself from our U-Pick gardens. The pre-picked items are set up in our barn and members pack their own bags with these items, which gives our members some choice in the items they receive. Items in the U-Pick vary by season, but may include green beans, cherry tomatoes, hot peppers, tomatillos, flowers, and popcorn. Our CSA requires a more significant time commitment than other pre-packed, grab-and-go box CSA programs. This is something that many of our long-time members love about our CSA program, but if you are limited on time during the pick-up time windows listed below, our CSA is probably not be the best fit for you. 

The 2024 CSA season begins on June 18 and ends on October 31. CSA pick-up happens at the Williams Barn at Gwenyn Hill Farm on the schedule you select when you sign up.

Pick-up schedule options are as follows:

All parts of your pick-up (barn and U-Pick gardens) must be completed within your selected timeframe.

 

Shared Risk

Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is a relationship between a farm committed to growing food sustainably and a community of members committed to eating locally and supporting the farm. When you join Gwenyn Hill Farm’s CSA, you are not just purchasing food from the farm, you have a direct relationship with the people who grow your food and the land they steward.

You have our word that we do everything we can to provide you with a bountiful share each week. Despite our best efforts, certain crops may fail due to extreme rain, drought, fluctuations in temperature, insect pressure, disease, hail, and so on. By joining our CSA, you are agreeing to share the risk of potential crop failure with the farmers and with other members. We will communicate openly and clearly with our membership during challenging times. Your share will reflect the growing conditions of the season, and each year will be different.

We are so sure that you are going to love the quality and flavor of these vegetables that we are offering a money-back guarantee, prorated for the number of weeks that you are a member. All we ask is that you give it a chance for at least 8 weeks.
