Our Story

Historic

Protected
Once on the brink of being subdivided, our historic farm, with its underground springs, deep woods, and bucolic hill top views, is being protected and nurtured for future generations.
We are building soil health, replanting hedgerows, and increasing the number of birds, bees, and butterflies that make this land their home.

Holistic
Gwenyn Hill is a sustainable, integrated, organic farm. We care for our livestock, crops, orchard, and market garden, as well as for our soil, woods, water, and wildlife.
Conservation and farming go hand-in-hand. Our Wisconsin farm is an interconnected, ecological web.

Preserved
We are passionate about preserving our land.
Our Farmers
Laurel Blomquist | Head Gardener
As Head Gardener, Laurel oversees 11 acres of organic vegetables, fruit, cover crops and herbs at Gwenyn Hill Farm. She leads the team that sows and transplants seedlings from the greenhouse to the field, harvests the produce and manages the packshed.
Lloyd Williams | Crops Contractor
Growing up on this land following three generations before him, Lloyd has spent a lifetime exploring its hills and woods, and farming its fields. Intimately familiar with its topography, natural springs and most fertile soil, Lloyd serves as an invaluable resource and guide.
