Growing up visiting his grandmother at a local apple orchard, Ben was primed to be an orchardist and landscaper from the very beginning.

Kitt Garmisch
Land & Livestock Manager
Kitt joined the Gwenyn Hill Land and Livestock team in November 2024 after earning a degree in agriculture from McHenry County College and working with grazing dairy cows and pastured poultry at farms in Illinois. He is responsible for the health and wellness of our livestock as well as the quality of milk, egg, and meat production.
Diane Wagner
Facilities & Maintenance Lead
Diane was one of Gwenyn Hill’s very first employees, joining the team after a previous career as a teacher. Diane helped build the farm into what it is today and she continues to keep all of our equipment running smoothly and our farm looking beautiful.
Kerem Sengun
Field Manager, Vegetables
Kerem traces his interest in farming partly to the vegetable-rich kitchen of his family, and partly to his deep interest in restoration ecology and the long histories of agriculture.

Land & Livestock Assistant Manager
After several years working in IT, Caitlin decided to flip the script and start farming. She hasn’t looked back since.
Kim Gonzalez-Hernandez
Organic Vegetable Farm Manager Apprentice
Kim joined the Gwenyn Hill vegetable production team during the summer of 2024 and enrolled in the Organic Vegetable Farm Manager Apprenticeship in 2025. Kim is a first-generation farmer hoping to educate and bring healthy whole foods to communities in need.

Quentin grew up on a dairy farm in Ontario, Wisconsin, where a visit from a local beekeeper stoked his fascination with bees. This blossomed into a mentorship with a former president of the Wisconsin Honey Producers Association.
