Our Farmers

Our farmers work hard to make Gwenyn Hill Farm a sustainable operation. We’re united around one common goal: Steward the land to feed our community for generations to come.

Linda Halley

General Manager

Since co-founding one of Wisconsin’s premier CSA farms in the 1990s, Linda has had numerous achievements from her 25 years in organic farming.

Ryan Heinen

Land and Livestock Manager

With a passion for organic, grass-fed dairying, Ryan brings a keen interest in combining land conservation with productive farming practices.

Liz Lyon

Head Gardener

Liz got her start at Gwenyn Hill as an apprentice in the Organic Vegetable Farm Manager Program, a project of FairShare CSA Coalition. In her new role, she continues to learn about what it takes to run an organic farm in a way that is sustainable for the land, the business and the people growing the food.

Joshua Mechaelsen

Land and Livestock Assistant

Joshua grew up in corn- and soybean-rich central Iowa, where heritage poultry breeds and heirloom vegetables opened his eyes to sustainable agriculture.

Benjamin and Ezequiel Zuniga

Harvest and Post-Harvest Managers

The Zuniga brothers, Benjamin and Ezequiel, have been working in organic produce production for over two decades.

Brian Randall

Organic Vegetable Farm Manager (OVFM) Apprentice

Brian grew up in an agricultural community in northern Wisconsin, working and learning on neighboring farms. After graduating with a BS in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2009, Brian joined the U.S. Marine Corps, living and working all over the world.

Our Partners

Lloyd Williams

Crops Contractor

Born and raised on this land, Lloyd is intimately familiar with the topography, natural springs and soil types. He’s an invaluable resource and guide.

Quentin Stedman

Quentin grew up on a dairy farm in Ontario, Wisconsin, where a visit from a local beekeeper stoked his fascination with bees. This blossomed into a mentorship with a former president of the Wisconsin Honey Producers Association.
