Gwenyn Hill is partnering with Alden Hills Organic Farms to provide chickens for our new summer chicken share this year. Alden Hills chickens are Certified Organic and raised on pasture.
Chicken share members will pick up one frozen chicken (average 5.5 pounds) every other week during the summer CSA pick-up season (June 18 – October 31). Chickens must be picked up at the Williams Barn during CSA pick-up hours. The Williams Barn is located at N130W294 Bryn Dr. Waukesha, WI 53188. If you are not a CSA member, you will need to select a pick-up schedule after purchasing this share. See below for pick-up schedule options.
Purchasing a chicken share guarantees your Certified Organic chicken supply for the summer and saves your family money compared to purchasing a la carte at our Farmstand.
Pick-up Schedule Options
- Tuesday A: pick up every other Tuesday between 4pm and 6pm from June 18 through October 22
- Tuesday B: pick up every other Thursday between 4pm and 6pm from June 20 through October 24
- Tuesday B: pick up every other Tuesday between 4pm and 6pm from June 25 through October 29
- Thursday B: pick up every other Thursday between 5pm and 7pm from June 22 through October 31
