Apples must be picked up at the Williams Barn at Gwenyn Hill Farm between 4pm and 6pm on Thursday, December 14!
Choose between a 10-pound bag of 20-pound box of mixed heirloom apples from Quednow’s Heirloom Apple Orchard in Elkhorn. Bag or box will contain a mix of heirloom apples including varieties that are great for both fresh eating and baking.

Apple Varieties:
Arkansas Black: Great for storing. Sweetness & acidity comes into balance by Christmas.
Black Twig: Somewhat similar to Arkansas Black variety. Starts off tart, but mellows the longer it is stored.
Pixie crunch: Sweet, savory flavor, almost like a hint of Carmel
Spitzenberg: One of Thomas Jefferson’s favorite apples. Flavor balances in storage.
Northern Spy: Syrupy sweet & semi tart. Rich & fruity.
Empire: Sweet & softly tangy. “Rosehip tea with honey”.
Johnathan: Balanced apple flavor. Semi-tart & spicy.
Blushing Golden: Honey-like flavor, juicy.
King David: Crisp, juicy, hint of spice.
